Ajax has released a speakerphone with artificial intelligence that can work on one set of batteries for up to three years. This was announced by the founder of Ajax Systems Oleksandr Konotopskyi, he writes dev.ua.

"We are proud to release the Ajax speakerphone. It is a two-way audio verification device for communication between the client and the monitoring center. It is popular in the security and aged care market. Especially in France. Merci mes amis pour cette idée géniale,” he wrote on LinkedIn.

Thanks to SpeakerPhone Jeweler, the monitoring company is always in touch with the object and can quickly and properly react to any threat. In particular, the device helps the operators of the central monitoring panel (CCS) to verify the alarm, scare away intruders, and quickly respond to an emergency call.

The appearance of SpeakerPhone Jeweler opened a new way of verifying alarms in the Ajax system - voice calls. When the alarm is triggered, the ATS operator can easily check the situation at the facility and not waste precious time searching for the owner's phone number. The operator makes a call directly to the object to ask the person at the location a control question or to ask for a code. Also, the operator can listen to what is happening in the room. Thus, one call can prevent unnecessary patrol trips and save the company money.

Installing SpeakerPhone Jeweler takes minutes. The installation engineer adds the device to the system by scanning the QR code and installs the voice module using the SmartBracket mounting panel. It is not necessary to disassemble the case and install batteries.

According to Konotopsky, a full-duplex device has been developed, so you do not need to work in walkie-talkie mode with the customer.

"We are adding to our protocol stack — Ajax VoRF. This radio protocol is the voice transport in the SpeakerPhone — 1,7 km full duplex voice range. Previously, these types of devices were utilitarian devices with very basic sound quality. We decided to change it and built in artificial intelligence to improve sound quality. Speakerphone hears a voice within a radius of 10 meters. And it works on one set of batteries for up to 3 years or 12 hours in talk mode. And, of course, there is a backup DC power supply," the entrepreneur said.

Currently, he says, you need to support SIP servers (either standalone or part of your monitoring software) to use SpeakerPhone.

Konotopsky said that a number of CMS software manufacturers are integrating the device. It is currently compatible with the Hub 4G and will soon be compatible with the Hub 2 Plus.
