This year, the second GovTech training center in the world will be opened in Kyiv

The organizers of the World Economic Forum will open an educational GovTech center in Kyiv. It should become the second in the world after the opening of a similar one in the German capital Berlin. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in his Telegram channel, reports ain.ua.

"The GovTech center will deal with the digital transformation of the government, the development of e-government and digital skills. Thanks to the center, Ukrainian startups and innovators will be able to exchange experience with foreign partners and accelerate digital reforms in Ukraine," writes Fedorov.

In a comment to AIN.UA, the Ministry of Statistics said that the official opening of such a GovTech center is scheduled for 2024. Other details of the project have not yet been disclosed.

Valeria Ioan, Deputy Minister for European Integration at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, said in her post on Instagram that the center will be created on the basis of the CDTO Campus with the support of the ministry.
