"Ukraine is in great need of support, not least artillery ammunition. With the 15th aid package, Denmark makes a financial contribution to the purchase of arms and ammunition. Both through other countries, in particular the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, and through continued important cooperation with the Danish defense industry," says Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

The agency noted that the Danish Ministry of Defense financed the purchase of 15 155 mm caliber artillery ammunition from the Czech Republic, which will be delivered to Ukraine within a few months.

It is indicated that equipment and ammunition for air defense, mine clearance and unmanned aerial vehicles will be transferred. The aid package includes radars, communications and equipment for drones from Danish companies.

The military aid package is provided for 2024-2026.

Recently, the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, criticized her fellow supporters of Ukraine for excessive slowness and indecision in providing Kyiv with the necessary weapons.
