But since the forces of the enemy are superior, and few have preserved their sight, the story line of the book mentions the mass death of the blind and the salvation of the few sighted on triffid-free islands.

In order for everyone to constantly buy masks, in addition to informational terror, fines are introduced, which grossly violates human rights.
