At the same time, one of the first investments since the beginning of the full-scale war was the financing of OKKO, then "Nyva Pereyaslavshchyna".

Of the latter, IFC invested in the third Horizon fund, and also provided guarantees for OTP Bank.

Olena Voloshina noted that earlier IFC did not invest in energy due to market opacity, monopolization and constant changes in rules and policies, tariff policy, etc.

However, IFC is now looking at investment options in renewable energy, production and storage.

The head of the IFC representative office in Ukraine also reported that the corporation signed an agreement with the Norwegian company Scatec on the supply of mobile panels and batteries to Ukraine. A similar project has already been implemented in Africa.
