Rinat Akhmetov's Lemtrans company invested more than $15 million in a dry port in Vinnytsia

Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia Andriy Ocheretny reported that Lemtrans transport company, which is part of Rinat Akhmetov's SCM Group, completed the construction of the second phase of the "dry" port - "Container Terminal Vinnytsia" (KTV). The group invested more than $15 million in this facility , writes inventure.com.ua.

Andrii Ocheretny reported that the facility should become a key logistics link for transportation in the central part of Ukraine.

"Lemtrans" invested in the development of the relevant infrastructure: railway tracks, a container yard, a warehouse with an area of ​​more than 4000 square meters.

In general, the throughput capacity of KTV is about 20 TEU/year and is designed for the transportation of such goods as niche grain crops and overflow cargo (in particular, oil).
