Along with the purchase of the property, the buyer is obliged to conclude a lease agreement with JSC "MR Bank" (the current name of Sberbank) for a part of this property. That is, the bank, which is in the process of liquidation, will continue to use part of the premises (up to 2743,2 sq. m.) and some equipment for a symbolic fee of 1 UAH per month. The lease term is until the termination of the bank as a legal entity.
The starting price of the lot was 555,8 million UAH.
Four buyers applied for the building, but the actual bidding took place only between two of them — Alarit-Prom LLC from Serhiy Spodin's group and the state-owned enterprise National Investment Fund of Ukraine.
As a result, the National Investment Fund offered UAH 4 million more and won with a bid of UAH 916 million.
The National Investment Fund was founded in 2021 with the aim of creating favorable conditions for large investment and socially significant projects.
In November 2024, it was transferred from the management of the State Property Fund to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
