Russia's new fortress in the south of Moldova: the secret order of the Gagauz?

The Kremlin began to prepare for a parliamentary campaign in Moldova - for this, Moscow, which received both breams, is building a new fortress of darkness in Gagauzia. About this пишет CAI Moldova analyst Aurel Popa.

When studying the biography of the ex-President of Moldova Ihor Dodon, one moment that few people noticed caught my eye: it turns out that Dodon was awarded the "Gagauz Yeri" order. The award date is December 25, 2019, that is, when Dodon was president.

In principle, everything is fine. according to Regulation on the personal legal status of Gagauzia establishment of honorary titles and approval of awards is within the competence of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia. Than NS it was used immediately in 1996, established a long list of awards for literally every occasion in life - except for the title "Honorary Cosmonaut of Gagauzia".

True, later it turned out that it was necessary to award either everyone, because living in Gagauzia is already a feat, or no one, for the same reason, and awards were not made for a long time. And then it suddenly took it and pushed it. And precisely with the highest award — with the same order "Gagauz Yeri". Yes, it was so popular that in 2019, Dodon was awarded Order No. 76 (out of 79 awarded).

And when was the first award and who was awarded? Stepan Topal, the first president of Gagauzia from the moment of its proclamation, is a living symbol of Gagauz pro-Moscow separatism! And when? End of December 2013: Maidan wins in Ukraine, and Russia prepares to annex Crimea. And at the same time, he envisages the prospects of a land corridor to Odessa and beyond, with the delight of Moldova. Coincidence? Allow me not to believe. And if it wasn't a coincidence, then there was a call from Moscow to Komrat: get ready, get ready, it's time. As a person who was in Gagauzia at that time, I testify: that's exactly how it was. All the pro-Moscow separatists who went into the shadows were put on full combat readiness.

It was from that moment that Gagauzia became the main pro-Moscow abscess in Moldova. Previously, this role was performed by Transnistria, but it became very fat on the gas-electric scheme, integrated itself into Moldova economically, and it was clearly not out of his hands to sway Chisinau.

The PMR is essentially two-state: from the side of Tiraspol, the "Sherif" holding controls everything, and from Moscow - a rather motley company, which includes representatives of the FSB, Ministry of Defense, GRU and "Gazprom" and lobbyists of a number of oligarchs. The "sheriff" definitely does not need shocks, and Muscovites, except for the security forces, do not need them either. Transnistria is now about money laundering, in the interests of corrupt officials from Moscow and Chisinau, and businessmen from Sherif.

And here are the Gagauz holodrantsy, living, by the way, exclusively at the expense of subsidies from Chisinau and aid from the European Union, because most of the able-bodied population was amazed by the realities of Gagauz independence and simply ran away from autonomy - excellent material for the organization of a pro-Russian coup in Moldova.

It is for this purpose that Moscow has been using Gagauzia since the end of 2013, pumping it with money. Too small to lift the Gagauz people out of poverty, but big enough to sway autonomy, and with it the whole of Moldova, using for this purpose a few thousand sleazy scumbags on Moscow's payroll.

And if in 2013 there could still be some doubts on this account, then in 2019 everything was already extremely clear. Nevertheless, Dodon, being, I will emphasize this once again, not a private person, but the president of Moldova, accepted the Gagauz order.

By the way, what could he have been awarded for? What relation did Dodon have to Gagauzia?

Absolutely none. Except for one thing: he didn't just turn a blind eye to the pro-Moscow course of the autonomous leadership, but he himself surrendered Moldova to Russia with all his might, not leaving the Russian embassy in Chisinau and making constant trips to Moscow. As for Gagauzia, Dodon simply gave it to Ilan Shor for use...

Of course, there is nothing new here. It has been known for a long time that Igor Dodon was a Russian resident rather than a Moldovan president. The order awarded to him in Comrat is just an additional touch to this fact. But the stroke is very bright.

How will this pro-Russian seal be dissolved on the body of Moldova? This is an important task for Chisinau and its allies. There are several months before the parliamentary elections.
