Suziria Group is a Ukrainian family enterprise, one of the leaders of the zoo industry of Ukraine. After the missile attacks on Kharkiv, the company moved the production of grain fodder to Kalush and began producing meat treats for dogs and cats. At the same time, part of the production facilities in Kharkiv continues to work. In addition, Suziria Group manufactures wet pet food at partner facilities in EU countries. The development of own production will help the company to gradually abandon the import of this category of products and expand the geography of sales. In three years, Suziria Group plans to start its own export of Ukrainian-made wet food for pets to the European market.

In order to finance the construction of new production facilities, which will make it possible to produce 10 tons of wet food for pets per year, Suziria Group, in addition to financing from the Savings Bank, received a grant in the amount of 2 million dollars from the USAID project "Investments for business sustainability".

"The Suziria Group investment project is a symbol of the stability of Ukrainian business and faith in our victory. The company, which relocated part of its business from Kharkiv, which invests in its own production facilities in Ukraine, gradually abandoning the manufacture of products abroad, really deserves respect, admiration and support. The combination of $4,5 million in loan funds from Oshchad with $2 million in grant funding from USAID significantly shortened the payback period of the investment project for the company. Considering Suziria Group's ambitions to export its own products, we are sure that these investments in the development of production facilities are only the beginning. The company plans to double production volumes in the next 5 years," noted Yurii Katsion, deputy chairman of the board of Oschadbank, responsible for corporate business.

"We are grateful to our partners for such strong support and faith in our intention to develop production and contribute to the growth of the export share of products created in Ukraine. This is a contribution not only to the development of the domestic pet market, which, by the way, is growing most dynamically in Europe. These include new working cities, infrastructure development, and support for Ukrainian suppliers of raw materials. We believe in the power of partnership and are convinced that together we will be able to more effectively restore the business climate in Ukraine and promote economic development despite the challenges of a full-scale war," said Polina Kosharna, co-owner of Suziria Group.

Suziria Group is a Ukrainian family group of companies that has been developing the pet products market for over 30 years. It includes the companies Suziria Brands, Suziria Distribution and the omnichannel chain of pet stores MasterZoo. The company operates throughout Ukraine and beyond, exporting its own brands, including Savory, Half&Half, Special One, Pet Fashion, Buddy Boo, Priroda, Puramur.
