"We are considering the possibility of providing additional batches of equipment, including possibly MiG-29 aircraft, which are needed today to protect Polish skies," Sikorski said.
At the same time, he noted that Poland could hand over these planes if its partners helped them.
It will be recalled that earlier RBC-Ukraine asked security expert Dariush Materniak what kind of help Poland needs from its allies in order to transfer MiGs to Ukraine.
Note that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on August 27 that Ukraine needs Polish MiG-29s. Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamys later said that Warsaw would be able to hand over the MiG-29s only after receiving the new fighters that had been ordered from the Allies.
