The Joint Standoff Weapon cruise bomb, already in use by the US Air Force and Navy and several allies, can engage targets more than 70 miles (112,6 km) away.

The package, according to two U.S. officials and a person familiar with the matter, would also include artillery munitions, rockets and anti-aircraft missiles. At the same time, according to them, the contents of the package may change before the official announcement.

As reported, the United States plans to announce a new package of military aid to Ukraine next week. But the supply of weapons may be delayed.

According to Reuters, the new package includes patrol boats, additional munitions for the High Mobility Artillery Missile Systems (HIMARS), 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, western parts and other weapons.
