The Howard G. Buffett Foundation together with partners built a dry port on the border of Ukraine with Hungary

Howard Buffett, an American philanthropist and chairman of The Howard G. Buffett Foundation, said at the Victory Harvest conference: “You need to diversify your exports. We invested in a transshipment complex on the border with Hungary with an elevator for 30 tons," he writes inventure.com.ua.

According to Buffett, his foundation, together with its partners, plans to continue building such hubs on the border so that grain from the railway can be reloaded into containers and go further.

Howard Buffet emphasized: "Ukraine is a somewhat atypical country for us. Before the war, this was not the country where we were needed. But when the full-scale invasion started, it affected the food situation around the world, and we knew we had to help."

Howard Buffett is the middle son of the world's most successful investor and the owner of a fortune of $107 billion, Warren Buffett. Howard Buffett is the largest private donor to Ukraine: since the beginning of the war and as of March of this year, his foundation The Howard G. Buffett Foundation has provided assistance to Ukrainians for more than $196 million.
