Uklon is preparing to launch a food delivery service

The Uklon car service is preparing to launch a new business line — its own food delivery service. "Forbes Ukraine" writes about this, referring to tester couriers. According to an anonymous source in the company, the new function will be part of the superapp Uklon, writes ain.ua.

9 test couriers were selected at the beginning of autumn. Each of them earns from UAH 30 per month in other delivery services.

According to one of the testers, the application will be similar to Glovo in terms of functions, and Bolt Food in terms of design.
The Uklon press service reported that the project is at the development stage. The details are not disclosed, as are the terms of the launch. However, couriers believe that this may happen already in mid-November in Kyiv.

After the launch, according to one of the testers, Uklon plans to hire about 200 couriers.

Delivery is not a new service for Uklon. Since 2020, the service allows you to order a car for the transportation of packages, documents, etc. around the city. The service is available for both passengers and corporate clients in 27 cities of Ukraine. Uklon offers automation of business logistics for the delivery of B2B orders for retail, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies and other business segments.

Glovo and Bolt Food are leaders in the Ukrainian food delivery market. At the same time, this market in Ukraine is still not oversaturated - this is evidenced by the growth rates of the above services.

According to Maryna Pavlyuk, the general manager of Glovo in Ukraine, under the conditions of deoccupation of territories, gradual return of economically active citizens and restoration of economic well-being, the fast delivery market in Ukraine can reach 1,7 billion euros.
