The Ukrainian won "gold" at the Judo Championship among cadets

Ukrainian athlete Nikita Yudanov won the World Judo Championship among cadets, which is currently being held in Zagreb, Croatia. About this reported the RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the National Olympic Team of Ukraine.

"The national anthem of Ukraine was played today at the World Cadet Judo Championship in Zagreb, Croatia. Nikita Yudanov climbed to the top step of the podium in the weight category up to 90 kg," the committee informed.

According to the NOC, on the way to the finals, the young Kyiv native, not allowing any of his opponents to earn even one mark, confidently won four matches against representatives of Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The decisive meeting for gold against the Italian Cristiano Mincinesi was a repeat of the final of the recent European Cadet Championship.

And, as in Odivelash, it ended in favor of Yudanov.

Note that Yudanov's award was the second for the Ukrainian national team in Zagreb. Previously, Margarita Miroshnichenko became the silver medalist in the weight category up to 48 kg.

We will remind you that in the spring, the Ukrainian national judo team withdrew its application for the Grand Prix in Asia.

We also reported that the Ukrainian won "silver" at the Ski Acrobatic World Cup.

Meanwhile, the women's futsal team of Ukraine won the "silver" of the European Championship.
