Ukrainian woman conquers the Grand Prix in rhythmic gymnastics and becomes the absolute champion
31.03.2025Ukrainian gymnasts triumphantly performed at the Grand Prix in Thiers, winning 9 medals. Gymnast Taisiya Onofriychuk became the absolute winner, winning 5 gold medals at once. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the national Olympic team of Ukraine.

The third stage of the Grand Prix in rhythmic gymnastics took place in Thiers, France. Ukraine was represented at the competition by three athletes in individual performances and a national team in group exercises.
"In total, Ukrainian gymnasts won 9 medals!" the NOC announced.
Taisiya Onofriychuk became the absolute winner of the competition, winning gold in the all-around and all individual events: hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon.
Gymnast Polina Karika won a silver medal in hoop exercises and also won two bronze medals - in the all-around and clubs exercises.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian team consisting of Polina Gorodnycha, Valeria Peremeta, Kira Shirikina, Nadiya Yurina, Oleksandra Yushchak, and Leyla Yusifzadeh won the silver medal in the group exercises with 5 ribbons.
