Ukrainian "Starlink" ordered Elon Musk's company to pay more than 0,5 million hryvnias for attorney's fees during the lawsuit over the brand

The Ukrainian company "Starlink", which, as it was reported, won in the first instance court on the claim of Elon Musk's SpaceX in the dispute over the Starlink brand, was also able to obtain a positive decision in the Commercial Court regarding the compensation of its legal expenses, writes dev.ua.

According to the decision of June 8, the court ordered to collect from SpaceX UAH 480 in costs for professional legal assistance and UAH 000 in costs related to the examination

During the consideration of this issue in court, representatives of SpaceX filed objections to the lawsuit. They motivated them by the fact that "the claimed costs were not actual and unavoidable, and their amount was unreasonable, and therefore they should be reduced in the part of costs for professional legal assistance and rejected in the part of costs related to the involvement of an expert and conducting an examination."

The defendant offered to reduce the amount of the declared expenses for professional legal assistance to UAH 44.

But "Starlink" LLC provided the court with acts of completed works, copies of invoices and payment orders. And the court ultimately upheld the Ukrainian company's claims.
