The Ukrainian startup Healthy Mind, which helps to determine the psychological state, attracted $1 million in investment

Healthy Mind, a startup founded in 2023, came out of stealth mode in December 2024 and began a beta test of its platform. It provides an understanding of the user's state of mental well-being based on more than 75 indicators, he writes dev.ua.

Healthy Mind has already attracted $1 million in investment. Its largest and only public investor is the IT company Roosh.

The startup was founded by former top managers of Naftogaz — former information technology director and head of the internal IT company Naftogaz Digital Technologies Maryna Kvashnina and former head of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev. The CEO of Healthy Mind is Maksym Rabinovych, who for two and a half years managed Gas Supply Company LLC (GPK).

"The main reason why I took up this direction is the great need and demand of society. According to official WHO statistics, almost 10 million Ukrainians have mental health problems due to the war. The statistics of all military conflicts that I have researched show that mental health is a huge problem during any war," Kobolev told Forbes.

Healthy Mind allows you to diagnose mental health disorders in 15-18 minutes. In the next versions of the product, an AI assistant for psychologists and psychotherapists and an AI assistant for users should appear.

According to Kobolev, the basis of the product is a diagnostic system that allows analyzing and determining about 80% of mental disorders described in DSM-5. This is a "catalogue" of mental disorders used, in particular, in the USA. It was created to enable insurance companies to pay for patients' treatment.

"This is a relatively objective and scientifically based tool that allows you to clearly define the disorder, its complexity and treatment methods," explained the co-founder of the MentalHealth startup.

The project team currently consists of 17 specialists, including scientific experts who formed an international psychological board to adapt and develop questionnaires and therapy protocols, as well as ensuring product compliance with international standards of psychological care, the press release notes.

Healthy Mind has received $1 million in investment in the past 18 months and plans to raise another million during 2025. These investments will help add functionality to the platform, expand its AI capabilities, and make psychological help available to millions of Ukrainians.

The Healthy Mind team is also preparing for international expansion, initially focusing on the Ukrainian market. For corporate clients, the platform helps improve the mental health of employees. The full launch of the product is planned for next year.
