Ukrainian UAV manufacturer Skyeton has invested $3,5 million in launching in Slovakia

The founder of the Skyeton company, Oleksandr Stepura, noted that the production in Slovakia was deployed in case Russian missiles reach the Ukrainian plant, writes inventure.com.ua.

In addition, production in Slovakia solves the problem of exporting Raybird products and limiting the possible markup to 25%. A factory in Slovakia avoids these restrictions and opens up more opportunities in the global market for European Union and NATO countries to buy their drones.

The Slovak plant is capable of building 25 intelligence systems per year, and after the closing of the investment round, the capacity will be increased fourfold. Skyeton is now raising $15 million in investment to expand.

Skyeton has been producing ultralight aircraft and UAVs for over 17 years.

In particular, Skyeton developed the Raybird-3 unmanned aerial system for long-term civilian and special forces reconnaissance missions at a cost of $1,2 million.
