In Belgium, the project "Alternative. Ukraine — reality and the future"

At the Ukrainian Cultural Center in the Kingdom of Belgium, the project "Alternative. Ukraine is reality and the future".

The grand opening of the exhibition took place on November 15. Guests and authors were received by the President of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in the Kingdom of Belgium, Svetlana Lyashchuk-Lebyga. The curator of the project was the young talented author Lera Litvynova.

Director of the Manufactura Gallery and the Yakov Greter Art Center Gallery, Leonora Janko: "Today, our country, which needs support from the strongest countries in Europe, in my opinion, requires correct positioning. We want to show that Ukraine is not only Maidan and war, but also many talented people - artists, sculptors, photographers, who are open to dialogue with the world public."

As part of the project, paintings by the international artist Oleg Radvan, Honored Artists of Ukraine Valery Franchuk, Alexey Kulakov, Natalya Papirnaya, icon painters Natalya Nasybulina and Tatiana Gubyna were presented. The exhibition presented iconic contemporary authors, such as landscape painters Anton Gudzykevich and Leonid Zaborovsky, conceptual artist Lera Litvinova, Timofey Papyrny, Anna Zagornaya, Maria Kryvopyshina and Maryna Gromenko. The project included works by the author of artistic optical illusions, Daria Marchenko, paintings by Kateryna Pyatakova, a member of the European Pastel Guild, as well as an installation by Maryna Omelchenko and a video art object by Yaroslav Lyashchuk, as well as artists Yulia Nasybulina and Anna Voloshko, who presented 2 new graphic works at the topic of Cossacks.

Also within the framework of the project "Alternative. Ukraine – reality and future" was an open exhibition in Luxembourg, with the assistance of Michael Karp.
"The project found a response in Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg in a short time and this shows that our authors are really in demand. Similar events give an opportunity to feel the connection between reality and the subtle world of the dream artist, to feel the state of emotional explosion provoked by such powerful changes in society. It is difficult to remain indifferent, but it is even more difficult to understand and accept the multifacetedness of Ukraine today," said artist and curator of the project Lera Lytvynova.

Exhibition openings were attended by famous foreign guests, cultural and business elite of Europe: representative of the Government of Flanders, representative of the Ministry of Tourism of Luxembourg Jerome Krier, one of the most famous artists and sculptors of Europe Kingsley Ogvara, President of the Eurasian Chamber Kateryna Shalyaeva, representatives of the Ukrainian community in Luxembourg and the Ukrainian community in Bruges , as well as Italian collectors and bankers. The exposition is open for visiting and purchasing paintings for charitable purposes, to support children affected by the events in the ATO zone.
