"Every month, Ukrainians leave more than 100 million hryvnias in tips as a thank you in cafes and restaurants. And would we be able, in principle, to visit a cafe or a restaurant if it were not for the Armed Forces? No! That is why we came up with "Boyovi". It's like a tip, only a tip is gratitude for service, and a tip is gratitude for life," says the announcement published by Horokhovsky in his Telegram.
Such an opportunity will appear when paying the bill using a QR code in establishments that support the Expirenza service. After the tips screen, a new "Combat" screen will appear, where users can thank the Ukrainian military for their protection.
According to Horokhovskyi, each institution can add its own Bank and "Boyovi" will go to those units or military that are helped by this particular business.
"You're all helping, aren't you?! If it weren't for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the tables in restaurants would always be empty. And there probably wouldn't be any tables. Remember this with every cup of coffee. And leave not only a tip to those who prepared it for us, but also to Boy, thanks to whom this coffee is possible at all," the announcement states.
Expirenza is a new service from monobank, thanks to which visitors to establishments can pay for orders, as well as leave tips and reviews, after scanning a QR code. The service is available not only to monobank users, but also to clients of all other banks.
"I want to recreate the story of Uber in a restaurant, so that a person can eat, get up and leave - and not have to pay the bill at all. We understand that this app is not for everyone. It will be useful for those who regularly go to restaurants, and they like it," explained monobank co-founder Mykhailo Rogalskyi, announcing the service.
