The State Register of Sanctions will be operational in Ukraine
27.07.2023 0 By Writer.NSThe President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed Law No. 8392 on the creation of the State Register of Sanctions, which was adopted by the Council on July 13. This is evidenced by the data on the website of the parliament, he writes liga.net.

The data of the register must be open and publicly accessible, it will be maintained in two languages - Ukrainian and English.
The following information is planned to be placed in the register:
→ grounds for applying, changing or canceling sanctions;
→ list of sanctions applied to each person;
→ bodies responsible for implementing the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine regarding the application of sanctions;
→ a list of persons to whom sanctions have been applied and information for their identification;
→ information about the subject of the proposal to apply the sanction;
→ other information that will be specified in the provision on the state register of sanctions.
Personal sanctions of sanctioned individuals will not be considered confidential.
Since the beginning of the war, sanctions have been applied to 11 people by decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
- The last time Ukraine imposed sanctions was on July 5, 2023, and legal entities of the Russian Alfa group, in particular the shareholders of Sense Bank, fell under them.
