Wizz Air shared details on the resumption of air services in Ukraine

Hungarian airline Wizz Air is ready to return to Ukraine and is close to an agreement to resume commercial operations with some Ukrainian airports. This was announced by the company's CEO Josef Varady during the conference "Logistics as a driver of economic growth" by the analytical center We Build Ukraine, writes epravda.com.ua.

He noted that the low-cost carrier has "big plans for Ukraine" and believes that the country's potential in air travel is huge.

"We plan not just to fly to Ukraine, but also to fly from Ukraine, restoring operational bases," Varady said.

According to him, Wizz Air has developed a plan to create a network of approximately 100 routes within the first six months of resuming operations, which is planned to provide an annual passenger flow of 5 million people.

"We are ready. We are in active negotiations with your airports in Lviv and Kyiv and are already close to concluding a commercial agreement," Varady concluded.
