Zelenskyy said that on Friday, April 4, a meeting of military teams of those countries that will be ready to deploy a contingent in Ukraine will take place.
"As for the issue of the contingent, we will have a meeting on Friday (April 4, — Ed.), there will be a meeting of our military teams of several countries, a narrow circle of countries. Those who will be ready to deploy a contingent in one form or another," he said.
He noted that this would be "the first in-depth meeting."
"There were consultations, and this will be the first in-depth meeting. We will see some clarifications and some details. It is important that it will be based on the prepared proposals of the Ukrainian side," the Ukrainian president concluded.
It should be noted that on March 28, Zelensky announced a meeting at the level of representatives of the general staffs in Ukraine, dedicated to the future deployment of the military contingent.
As is known, the so-called "coalition of the determined" led by France and Britain has been working for several weeks on a plan to send thousands of troops to Ukraine to guarantee a future "ceasefire."
On March 27 in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that a Franco-British mission would be sent to Ukraine to work on strengthening the Ukrainian army. He added that work was ongoing on the potential deployment of so-called “guarantee forces” to Ukraine.
